Fast Post-Editing Guidelines
Index
What Is Fast Post-Editing?
Fast Post-Editing is the correction of raw machine-translated output by a human translator according to specific guidelines. The objective is to make only necessary changes, and to avoid spending time and effort on preferential changes. There is no need to implement corrections that are only stylistic.
Features

Mental Process | Read and understand the target text to make fixes. Compare it to source to detect mistranslations and semantic errors. |
Level of editing | Make only necessary changes. Try to use as much of the MT (Machine Translation) output as possible. |
Result | The meaning of the source text should be preserved. Target text should be grammatically correct. |
